2021 was one of the most extraordinary property markets we have seen in a very long time.  House prices rose and just kept going up as the year progressed.  Buyers both locals as well as interstate buyers piled in to the market and were chasing the small number of properties that were available on the market.

A similar situation occurred in the rental market with demand extremely high, rents were pushed higher and higher.

Who knows what 2022 has in store but it is safe to suggest that it will remain a great time to be a property seller with prices likely to continue to rise, all be it at a slower rate than last year.

If you would like to have a chat about the property market or your property in particular, just give one of the Hicks Real Estate team a call, to get the best possible advice available.

Most popular townhouse

12/19 Russell Street, Everton Park

We know that a great location is awesome for selling houses.  This Townhouse was located at the very end of a small, well-maintained complex. The three-bedroom townhouse stands all by itself and has a fantastic outdoor area, ready for its new owners to entertain and enjoy.

Maybe that is why there were 19 offers on this property and a sale price more than $50,000 above expectations.
